Slapshock just released its latest music video for the song STRANDED, the last single from the album Silence...It contains clips and live performance footages of the band's appearance at Dubai Desert Rock Fest '08...you can now vote for it at MYX Music Channel...Calling all Slap Armies time to lock in those votes again!

The band is back to hibernation again at Slaphouse...They are currently busy writing new materials for their upcoming album due to be released 2nd quarter of this year under a new label to be announced very soon...No album title has come up yet but they are planning to include 13 new songs...The band has limited its gigs to concentrate more on the writing process so be sure to catch them on some of their selected gigs starting this May.

Slapshock is back from its very successful gig at Dubai Desert Rock Fest. The band played an explosive set which set the crowd bouncing and started the big moshpits all over. From the opening song Shed Your Skin to the finale of We Are One, the crowd gave out the same high energy level as the band members played their hearts out onstage. According to the band, it's one of the most memorable experience they had ever in their whole career. "It's a gig we can always look back when we're gray and old" says one of the band members. This is the biggest, most prestigious annual rock event in the Middle East with thousands of rock afficionados gathering from all parts of the globe. Previous year’s performers include Iron Maiden, Prodigy, Incubus, Megadeth, Sepultura, Testament, Stone Sour and In Flames.
