SLAPSHOCK OPENS FOR KORN LIVE IN MANILA
Slapshock was chosen as the opening act of this year’s biggest rock event, KORN LIVE in Manila. This will be at the Araneta Coliseum on August 10, 2011 at 8 p.m.. It will be the band’s second time to share the stage with KORN as they both played at the Dubai Desert Rock Fest in 2008. According to the band, experiencing a KORN concert is a must for every rock fan. These guys play better and heavier as they age. To all the rap metal heads, Nu-metal heads and all Pinoy rockers out there, we’ve waited more than a decade for this, see you all at the mosh!!

Slapshock Not at This Year’s Pulp Summerslam XI
Slapshock will NOT be playing at this year’s PULP SUMMERSLAM XI : RESURRECTION because of conflict of sponsors. RedHorse Beer which is a staunch supporter of Pulp Summer Slam since its inception is not this year’s main presentor and Slapshock as an endorser of Redhorse cannot play in an event of a competing brand. We would love to play for Summer Slam as always but this time we are caught in some legality issues. Hope the fans understand.
